the presentation of the colors and the playing of the National
Anthem at 9:38 a.m., the precise time American Airlines Flight
77 impacted the southwest face of the building killing 184 people.
The ceremony is part of a day of remembrance proclaimed by President
George W. Bush. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Richard
B. Myers, U.S. Air Force joined Rumsfeld in the remembrance ceremony.
